WHAT TO WEAR FOR YOUR HEADSHOTS / PERSONAL BRANDING SESSION

Not sure what to wear? No worries! Here’s a simple guide to wardrobe success!

- Bring a variety of options, at least 4 different complete outfits, include casual, business casual, and more formal. Include simple options like a solid color t-shirt with jeans or simple slacks.

- Make sure clothing is well-fitted, avoid loose or baggy items.

- Bring appropriate undergarments for all of your outfits.

- Keep color pallet simple and neutral; black, brown, navy, gray, beige, cream, muted tones. Avoid super bright colors, however jewel tones will better compliment your skin and eyes, like plum, emerald, sage, copper and sapphire. Solid colors work best, subtle or tone on tone patterns can work great as well.

- If you wear eye glasses that are tinted, or get tinted in the sunlight, bring an extra pair without lenses.

- Avoid busy patterns as they tend to be trendy and distracting.

- Fabrics or accessories that have texture (silky fabrics, leather, metallics, lace) add depth and texture without being busy.

- Bring accessories to add variety, depth and texture like jackets, sport coats, cardigans, neck tie or scarf in a fun pattern or pop of color.

- Jewelry should be simple and not overly distracting.

- If you like, bring accessories that show your personality and/or help tell your brand story.

- Include appropriate shoes for all your wardrobe selections so we’re covered for pull-back shots.

- Have all your wardrobe options cleaned, pressed, and on individual hangers the evening before your session, so they look great and are ready to go!
